EQUAL TRINITY

True art, that spirit-sight beholds,

Reflects His Love, in adoration,

Transcendent loveliness unfolds,

Reverent in conformation.

Religion, too, the heart plifts,

Deity, in majesty, enthrones,

And love, the greatest of His gifts,

For futile error, still, atones.

In science, all in one, combine,

The harmony of Nature’s law,

With beauty, perfect in design,

And grandeur, seen in awe.

Religion, science and true art,

Each, of the other, free,

But, of each other, still a part,

Equal in trinity.
